A Happy Poem

I'm an occasional poet, and thought I could publish my poems on my blog occasionally! Here's one I did some years back in response to a friend's complaints about my bouts of depressed thinking....

Here's a happy Poem
Dedicated to a friend I know
Who says I'm always depressed
Pessimistic and way down below!

So I'll flit like a butterfly
From flower to flower
And then to your nose
To join you in your shower!

Ooops, sorry, boys and girls
Forgot this poem is supposed to be PG!
So out I'll go, to wait for you in your bower
Then you and I will run out to play by the sea

How happy and carefree we shall be
Busy playing like bumble bees
Dancing around the sand dunes we'll be
Silly and joyful and terribly carefree!
