Crying out for a Saviour
This is gonna be another sad, depressed post...Lots of violence seems to be happening these past few weeks. First, Israel decided to escalate matters in the Middle East by blowing away civilians and Hamas terrorists alike. NOT exactly the best thing to do to win friends and influence anyone except to breed future suicide bombers! Then some stupid father decided to exercise his parental authority by whacking his 2 year old daughter to death. And yesterday, a MP was set on fire while giving out hongbaos to his constituents!
What is happening????
Is this the beginning of the end, as what is foretold in Revelations?
I don't know, I'm not a prophet or a Bible scholar. But it sure seems to me that SOMETHING is wrong with the world, and we all need a Saviour, now, more than ever before. We Christians of course already have our Saviour, but the world, all 6.something billion of us, all of us need Someone to help us out of the mess that we are in. Cos we sure are not going to be able to help ourselves from sinking deeper and deeper each day into the miry clay.
So many people die everyday, most of them unknown to the rest of the world's citizens, only remembered by their loved ones and God. I can only pray that they will find their way Home, and that God will embrace them in His arms when they arrive.
Sigh......I feel another poem coming on.....
